I'm Amy, an award-winning UI/UX designer deeply passionate about enhancing user experiences, particularly in the healthcare and nonprofit sectors. As a type 1 diabetic, I'm committed to leveraging technology to improve lives through dynamic interfaces. My empathy for users relying on medical devices and health apps has positioned me in the top 3% of UI/UX designers globally on Toptal.

My expertise lies in designing humanity-driven tech products, data visualizations, dashboards, and complex web applications. Over the past 13 years, I've collaborated with global brands to enhance healthcare data accessibility and public health information. Obsessed with data, I see the world in charts and graphs. In 2012, I founded Dream In Color to deliver design solutions that empower companies to measure performance, utilize data effectively, and deliver superior services.

I'm recognized as an industry leader in healthcare and nonprofit sectors, known for my ability to analyze big data, empathize with users, and design high-converting interfaces and visualizations for applications, SaaS products, and websites. Graduating from the Art Institute of Washington in 2012, I was honored with the Washingtonian Award for mentoring in the industry. Today, I provide professional design support to various causes impacting the Black community.
