Layer Health
As a Senior Product Designer, I led the early-stage UX and product design for Layer Health’s new AI-as-a-Service (AIaaS) healthcare platform—an intelligent system designed to translate complex clinical and operational data into clear, actionable insights. This initiative positioned Layer Health to scale as an AI-first company, capable of supporting hospitals, clinicians, and care teams through predictive analytics and real-time decision support.
My role centered on designing high-fidelity Figma wireframes, interactive prototypes, and a unified visual system that made dense healthcare data intuitive, trustworthy, and easy to navigate. Because the platform relied on AI models that layered insights across multiple datasets, the UX needed to reduce cognitive load while making advanced analytics feel human-centered and clinically safe.
By collaborating closely with engineering, product management, and early user stakeholders, I shaped the product’s foundational direction—translating complex algorithms into visual patterns, workflows, and data storytelling that non-technical users could actually understand and act on.
This work became instrumental in Layer Health’s momentum. The clarity, sophistication, and technical feasibility demonstrated through the prototypes directly supported the company’s ability to communicate its vision to investors—ultimately contributing to securing $21 million in fresh funding, publicly announced in Forbes on March 28, 2025.
